Your personal information is protected by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles and is being collected by ECA, with your consent, for the primary purpose of administering the accreditation process for textile, clothing and footwear businesses in accordance with these obligations.

- We collect your personal information directly from you, wherever possible, when you:
- Interact with us in person, via phone, letter, email or SMS.
- Apply for or renew your accreditation via our online, soft/hard copy forms.
- Review and acknowledge the Code of Practice.

- Take our online eligibility quiz.
- Engage in our marketing activities and events.

- The Textile, Clothing and Footwear Union, as covered under the Service Level Agreement.

- Publicly available sources, including social media platforms.
5. Why do we collect your personal information?
We collect your personal information for the primary purpose of conducting operational and business functions and activities to administer the accreditation process for textile, clothing and footwear businesses and to promote accredited businesses.

If you choose not to provide your personal information, we may not be able to assess your application or determine your eligibility for accreditation or market your accreditation.
